Since my last post I have added more outfits to the shop.

I've Been a Busy Bee

I've been working pretty steadily on catching up on the shop. I have, over the past 3 years, knit a tremendous amount of doll clothing without posting anything about it here or my personal blog, Beadknitter Gallery. I wasn't ready to publish them, to be honest. I didn't really have a definite plan or look I was trying to achieve until recently. Now that I've got my act together, so to speak, I've added 2 new outfits for the Tonner Ellowyne line of dolls to the shop and have more to come.

This first outfit is knit with a Mohair/Silk blend yarn.

I think it turned out very elegant with the lace ruffled collar and hem, both with tiny little glass seed beads knit right into the fabric. It comes with the hat and jewelry too.

This little outfit makes Amber ready for spring.

I especially love the way the hat turned out. I decorated it with paper flowers and a pink bow.

Both of these are available in Wool In The Wilde on Etsy.

New Things!

I have sadly been neglecting Wool in the Wilde. But I have resolved to give it my attention this year. I did make quite a few outfits last year, but I never got around to putting them in the shop. Well, I've put some things in the Etsy shop over the past couple weeks.

First is this outfit for Ellowyne Wilde and friends.

and this fully knit outfit in Salmon Pink.

I have a new addition to the shop too. I have fallen in love with the Iplehouse JID ball jointed dolls and now own two of them, Sierra

and Asa.

If you're not familiar with Iplehouse dolls, they are usually made of resin and are fully jointed. They can be posed in just about any way you want. They come in various sizes. The JID's are about 17 inches tall.

I have added to my shop two outfits that will fit Iplehouse JID dolls. They are being modelled by my Sierra.

First is this lovely pink skirt and top with matching jewelry and hat.

Second is this green outfit.

You can find all the above in my shop:  Wool in the Wilde

I've listed three outfits perfect for wearing on Valentines Day. You'll find them in my Etsy shop.

So, you see, I haven't forgotten Wool in the Wilde. Just had a problem with life getting in the way. Lots of things planned for this year, including introducing a line of clothing for another doll, and beaded jewelry. Stay tuned.

A Step Forward

Well, I thought we'd get this going sooner than we have, but life has been getting in the way. We (we being me and my daughter) sat down today and did some work on this here web site. We're learning how to set it up as we go. In the meantime, here's a pic to give you a sample of what we're working on outside this site.

These gals are two of my Robert Tonner Ellowyne Wilde dolls. The one on the left is Essential Ellowyne Five (Blonde), the one on the right is Great Depression Ellowyne. I call them Ellie and Debbie. I designed and knit the dresses they're wearing. That's what we do. My daughter and I are knitters. We are planning to have a little dress shop here on this web site featuring One-Of-A-Kind knits we've made for these 16 inch fashion dolls.

I got into collecting these dolls very recently. I mean very recently. Got the first one in April. I'd gone to My sister introduced me to these dolls Great Depression Lizette, who is the companion piece to Great Depression Ellowyne. There are only 200 of these Lizettes out there and I'm going to have one of them. Woo hoo!
northern Michigan to take care of my dad because he had a stroke.
while I was there. I can't believe how hooked I got. I've got 3 now, and one more was shipped today. I've ordered

Anyway, I've knit a few outfits and I'm enjoying it very much. It's a lot of fun designing clothing for these little ladies. So, stay tuned. We're starting to get our act together and soon there will be a selection of clothing available.

Until then, take care.

The Beginning

Every story has a beginning. This is ours. My daughter and I are starting a business together. It's called Wool in the Wilde. An adventure we are both so excited about. We'll tell our story here.
